Does Schedule Sentry Mode still work when my phone is off or out of signal?

Yes. The schedule does not run on your phone. It runs on Sentry Pro’s backend, which dispatches the ON and OFF commands directly to your Tesla through the official Tesla Fleet API at the times you configured.

That means the schedule continues to fire on your vehicle every day even when:

  • Your phone is off or dead
  • You’re in airplane mode or have no cell signal
  • You’ve closed the Sentry Pro app
  • You’re traveling and your phone is on a different network

If a command fails to reach the car (for example, due to a Tesla connectivity issue at the vehicle’s location), the schedule screen will show the failure with a manual Retry option the next time you open the app.
